For the love of sourdough.

Welcome to WOW BAKES.  Hi, my name is Sharon and I’m sourdough obsessed!

I was originally inspired to pursue sourdough baking because of my daughter’s gluten allergy.  Shopping for traditional breads and crackers left me feeling like I would always have to sacrifice either taste or quality.  I found that most sourdough gluten free products on the market were either bland and tasteless or contained extraneous starches and additives.  For lack of a better option, I turned to my own kitchen.  

My obsession with sourdough baking started with bread.  I fondly remember staying up all night baking mini and large sized loaves, and spending my days studying and reading all about the art of baking with sourdough.  I have dedicated the past two years learning about the delicate process of fermentation and researching endlessly to perfect my baking process.  After all of the sweat and tears, I can finally say that the products I am bringing to you are my pride and joy. 

Working with sourdough has been an incredible journey.  I never understood what it meant to have a passion in life until I discovered sourdough.  I truly hope you enjoy my goods and I hope to hear from you soon.  When I am not at my computer taking orders, I am in the kitchen refining, fine tuning, and perfecting my craft to bring you sourdough baked with love.
